This tool steel is manufactured by the Austrian company Böhler Edelstahl. It is characterized by high mechanical resistance (to wear and compression) and above-average toughness. Containing 8% chromium, it offers some degree of corrosion resistance but is not completely stainless. Hardness ranges from 62-64 HRC.
