A modern stainless steel produced using CPM (Crucible Particle Metallurgy) technology by the American company, Crucible Materials. Its chemical composition and performance parameters are unattainable through conventional melting methods. Made in the USA, S35VN is an improved version of the renowned and popular S30V steel. The addition of niobium and a finer grain structure provides increased resistance to chipping and makes it easier to sharpen, all while maintaining the same level of corrosion resistance.
