Knives with blades crafted from 65x13, a Russian stainless steel comparable to the American 425mod. In its country of origin, it's a go-to material for everything from medical scalpels to a variety of knives. This steel is hardened to a moderate level, striking a balance between different properties. Blades made from 65x13 are exceptionally corrosion-resistant. While they may need frequent sharpening, the good news is you can get a sharp edge back using even a basic whetstone. Because the steel is relatively soft, the blades are shaped by rolling instead of forging. For comparison, its performance and price point are very similar to knives made with 420 or Japanese AUS-6 steel.
