Finka SARO (wooden handle)
Description
This is a classic "finka" knife that follows the Saro design philosophy. In my opinion, Saro knives are characterized by what I would call a military-grade ruggedness: matte blades, partial grinds, rubber-molded handles, and simple capron sheaths. Saro offers a puukko-style knife that perfectly fits this description, but this particular model introduces a few variations: a wooden handle instead of Elastron and a blade polished to a high sheen—likely because a matte finish would not complement the wood well. The knife lacks a handguard, a design choice dictated by the blade's thickness (3.5 mm). With a guard, it would be classified as a melee weapon and subject to legal restrictions.
