Description

A machete inspired by the machetes used by the Australian Army infantry. This machete was designed by the Australian hunter Zobair Bary, referencing the equipment of the Australian Army infantry. The Bushmate is a solid tool that can successfully replace a light axe. The handle provides a good grip, and the geometry and balance of the blade allow for long periods of work without straining the hand. The blade features a Scandi grind (a low flat grind), which is excellent for chopping. The 420HC steel is hardened to 56 HRC. The tang scales are made of walnut root. The sheath is made of leather with an embossed pattern.

The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the old traditions of Caucasian knife makers with the latest production technologies. Kizlyar Supreme products are the result of the manual work of craftsmen who have been making knives for generations, except that today they have the most modern programmable machining centers and hardening furnaces.
