Zwiadowca (leather handle, duralumin castings)
Description
A clone of the cult NR (Scout Knife) made of ЭИ-107 steel. This is stainless steel; its Polish equivalent is H10S2M steel. Hardness 55 HRC. The handle is made of leather rings strung on the tang, finished on both sides with duralumin fittings - a pommel and guard. Partially concave grind. On one side of the blade is the inscription: "Rosoruzhie Zlatoust" with the manufacturer's logo. Steel marking stamped at the very base of the blade: ЭИ-107. At the end of the handle there is a hole allowing for the attachment of a lanyard or wrist loop. Black leather sheath with embossed manufacturer's logo and inscription Zlatoust.
Zlatoust company is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. It boasts a centuries-old tradition in the production of edged weapons.
