Dagestan-based company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of the few Russian knife producers known worldwide outside of Russia, combining old Caucasian traditions of knife-making with modern production technology. Products of Kizlyar Supreme are the result of work by craftspeople for generations engaged in making knives, but today they use the latest numerical control machining centers and hardening furnaces.
