Yeti PGK
Description
A medium-sized outdoor knife made from German PGK steel. Its maximally simple construction (full tang, drop point profile with flat grinds, G10 handle scales) combined with the advantages of PGK steel (durability and excellent impact resistance at a hardness of 62-63 HRC) and its moderate size make the Yeti a versatile tool for both long expeditions and work around the property. The bright blue handle helps in locating the knife in the grass, and a guard on the tang prevents the hand from slipping onto the blade. The sheath is made of brown embossed leather.
The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the ancient traditions of Caucasian knifemakers with the latest production technologies. Kizlyar Supreme products are the result of the manual work of craftsmen who have been making knives for generations, now equipped with state-of-the-art programmable machining centers and hardening furnaces.
