Wzmach-4
Description
A new variant of one of the oldest and most popular NOKS models, now designed by Alexander Biryukov, who after the death of Igor Sklarov took his place as the company's chief designer. The blade features the inscription "design by A. Biryukov" where previously it was "design by I. Sklarov", but it should be noted that the Wzmach-5 and 4 differ in the shape of the handle and sheath, while the blade itself remained largely unchanged. It is still clearly reminiscent of the iconic Karatiel blade with spear point profile, a bolster extension and a wave-shaped cutting edge. The handle, made of elastron, has a completely new, more ergonomic shape, ending with a fixing screw. A key is included, which allows you to unscrew the screw and remove the handle. In Russia, this design makes sense insofar as it allows for the independent installation of a guard, which is essentially absent from versions of combat knives permitted for circulation without permits. The same handle is found in the Ryś-4, a new version of another well-known NOKS model. Both the Wzmach-4 and Ryś-4 have fully equipped sheaths; they can be worn on a belt, attached to carrying systems or backpacks, or fastened to the thigh or forearm.
