Vityaz (ABS sheath)
Description
Vityaz is a military-type field knife with a blackened drop point blade and a fuller. Partial hollow grind, the spine on the point is ground to a false edge. Vityaz appeared in the Kizljara offer in 2020 and initially had leather sheaths with a plastic insert, like the entire line of heavier field knives (Katanga, Woodsmanski, etc.). From the beginning, there was also a Vityaz variant with the status of a melee weapon, which had a flat guard on both sides. I don't know whether combat Vityaz were delivered to the army, but at the beginning of the war, even civilian Vityaz underwent a metamorphosis aimed at giving them a military flair in order to interest those mobilized people who bought their own equipment. At the end of 2022, Vityaz appeared in new color variants with plastic sheaths with holes on the edges, so they can be worn not only on a belt, but also laced to tactical vests. The shape of the blade made of AUS8 steel hardened to 57-58 HRC and the shape of the elastron handle remained unchanged.
On one side of the blade there is an inscription: "Кизляр Сделано в России" and hologram. On the other side of the blade, the manufacturer's logo and inscription: "Витязь"
Kizlyar boasts a combination of ancient traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in the production of cold weapons and new production technologies.
