Vendetta D2 BT

A medium-sized, universal field knife with a full tang construction. The G10 tang scales are fastened not with screws, but with elements resembling pass-through rivets. As a result, there are three holes in the handle that can be used, for example, to lash the knife to a pole. The blade has an interesting profile: from the cutting edge, it slightly widens towards the tip, which provides a maximally aggressive cut when pulling the knife towards you. The spine, at one-third of its length from the handle, rises above the back line and then curves down towards the tip (this entire section is ground to a false edge). The D2 steel is hardened to 61 HRC and features a black titanium coating. It has a partial hollow grind.

The sheath is made of black Cordura (the included photos show a knife with a camouflage sheath) with a plastic insert and MOLLE system straps, and includes a length of paracord (approx. 1.5m), allowing the knife to be carried handle-down as well.

The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining ancient traditions of Caucasian knife makers with the latest production technologies. Kizlyar Supreme products are the result of the manual work of craftsmen who have been making knives for generations, except that today they have at their disposal state-of-the-art programmable machining centers and hardening furnaces.
