Ursus
Description
A heavy field knife from the Spanish company Cuchilleria Forester. Drop point blade, 32 mm wide and 5 mm thick, with a partially flat grind. Micarta tang scales. The blade is engraved with the J&V Adventure Knives emblem (trade brand of the Cuchilleria Forester factory), the inscription "Ursus Handmade in Spain" and the steel marking: 1.4116. Leather multi-positionalal (to be worn vertically or horizontally) sheath with a silent clasp.
Forester is one of the few old Spanish manufacturers that has resisted pressure to move production to China. The knives are still not only designed but also manufactured in the Forester factory in Albacete, Spain.
