Universal 2 (pattern welded damascus, elk horn handle)
Description
A knife from the Maruszynych brothers' workshop, with a blade profile that the manufacturer named "Universal" a name I find rather unfortunate, as it suggests a universal nature, while it is a typically military knife, i.e., intended for combat, mainly for stabbing. For three-quarters of its length, the cutting edge and the back are straight and run parallel. A high, minimally concave grind on the blade side. The back is partially ground down for 11 cm from the tip, which results in a stiletto-like aggressive thrust. The handle is made of deer bone and is finished on both sides with decorative cast melchior. A Finnish-type sheath, smooth, made of good, thick leather.
