Description
A heavy knife in the style of a Nepali kukri made of Russian stainless steel 40x13. This Russian steel is sometimes called surgical steel. It does not rust even in seawater, therefore it is used for the production of knives for divers. It contains 0.36-0.45% carbon and 12 to 14% chromium. It is possible to achieve a hardness of 58 HRC, but with a loss of flexibility. The optimal hardness for knives such as the Tibet, i.e., machete-type knives, is 53-56 HRC.
