Description

A hunting knife manufactured by Zlatoust, made of the so-called pattern welded damascus. Zlatoust Damasts are distinguished by high quality and unique aesthetics. The handle is made of stabilized Karelian birch (one of the more expensive types of stabilized wood) finished with pieces of textolite on both sides. Due to the unique pattern of the grain, the photos for each knife with such a handle are made from scratch, so in the photos you see exactly the knife that will be sent. There is a hole at the end of the handle that allows you to attach a lanyard or wrist loop. A beautiful recurve blade with a partially hollow grind is decorated with a gold-plated drawing on one side. On the other side, under the handle, on the blade, there is a gilded inscription made using the same method: "Росоружие Златоуст" and the manufacturer's logo. The handle on the blade side is without a guard, the blade at the base has blunted places for the thumb and forefinger on the blade and head side. The head from the end of the blade to approximately one third of the length is ground to a false blade. Leather sheath, black, with embossed manufacturer's logo and the inscription Златоуст.

The Zlatoust company is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside Russia. It boasts several hundred years of tradition in the production of cold weapons. Gilding, in which the Uralic Zlatoust is the undisputed leader among Russian companies, looks exceptionally well on dark damascus blades.
