Tornado-2 (gilded pattern welded damascus, stabilized karelian birch blue)

A hunting knife manufactured by Zlatoust, made of gilded forged Damascus steel. Zlatoust Damascus steel is characterized by high quality and exceptional aesthetics. The handle is made of stabilized Karelian birch (one of the more expensive types of stabilized wood) and finished on both sides with pieces of textolite. Due to the unique grain pattern, photos for each knife with such a handle are taken anew, which means that the photos show the exact knife that will be sent. At the end of the handle there is a hole allowing for attaching a lanyard or wrist strap. A beautiful recurve blade with a partially concave grind is decorated on one side with a gold-plated (galvanic method) drawing. On the other side, under the handle, on the blade, there is a gold-plated inscription: "Rosoruzhie Zlatoust" and the manufacturer's logo. The handle on the blade side is devoid of a bolster, the blade at the base has blunted places for the thumb and index finger on the blade and butt sides. The butt from the end of the blade to approximately one third of its length is ground down to a false edge. Leather sheath, black, with the manufacturer's logo and inscription embossedZlatoust.

Zlatoust is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. It boasts a centuries-old tradition in the production of bladed weapons. Gilding, in which Ural Zlatoust is the undisputed leader among Russian companies, looks exceptionally good on dark Damascus blades.
