Tokisu 18721
Description
A pocket knife from the Tokisu model line by Martinez Albainox. Small, Japanese-style, foldable EDC on bearings, with a liner lock. A narrow, but very "biting" tanto-profile blade. High flat grind (full on the tip), handle covers made of G10, with an additional carbon cover on one side. There is a clip, but no holster, instead a black velvet pouch.
The Tokisu brand belongs to the Spanish company Martinez Albainox, once one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives, grouped into several registered model lines, but has moved almost all production to China. However, these are still branded products, which means that there is someone who cares about their quality. In such a system, the place of production ceases to be a disadvantage and becomes an advantage, because it allows us to offer an excellent price-quality ratio. The Tokisu model line includes knives that clearly refer to the Japanese tradition. They are produced from Chinese industrial steels, in this particular case 7Cr17MoV.
