Tokisu 18714
Description
A pocket knife from the Tokisu model line by Martinez Albainox. Japanese-style, foldable EDC on bearings, with a liner lock. High flat grind, handle covers made of G10, with an additional carbon overlay on one side. There is a clip, but no holster, instead a black velvet pouch.
The Tokisu brand belongs to the Spanish company Martinez Albainox, once one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives, grouped into several registered model lines, but has moved almost all production to China. However, these are still branded products, which means that there is someone who cares about their quality. In such a system, the place of production ceases to be a disadvantage and becomes an advantage, because it allows us to offer an excellent price-quality ratio. The Tokisu model line includes knives that clearly refer to the Japanese tradition. They are usually made of Chinese industrial steel, but in this particular case it is Western D2 steel.
