Tanto Tokisu 32701
Description
Beautiful knife made of 73 layers forged damascus designed by Martinez Albainox. It belongs to the Tokisu model line, which includes products that in some way refer to the Japanese tradition. The blade has a hira profile with a high, slightly hollow grind. The handle and sheath are made of ebony wood.
The Tokisu brand belongs to the Spanish company Martinez Albainox, once one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives, grouped into several registered model lines, but has moved almost all production to China. However, these are still branded products, which means that there is someone who cares about their quality. In such a system, the place of production ceases to be a disadvantage and becomes an advantage, because it allows us to offer an excellent price-quality ratio. The Tokisu model line includes knives that clearly refer to the Japanese tradition. They are made of Chinese industrial steel and Chinese forged damascus, usually 67 layers. The components of the package are unknown, and the declared hardness is 57-58 HRC.
