Taiga 2 (gilded pattern welded damascus, leather handle, duralumin fittings)

A hunting knife manufactured by Zlatoust, made of the so-called pattern welded damascus. Zlatoust Damasts are distinguished by high quality and unique aesthetics. Leather handle finished with duralumin fittings on both sides. There is a hole at the end of the handle that allows you to attach a lanyard or wrist loop. A beautiful, massive clip point blade with an 8-centimeter ball on the head is decorated with a gold-plated drawing on one side. On the other side, under the handle, on the blade, there is a gilded inscription made using the same method: "Росоружие Златоуст" and the manufacturer's logo. The handle on the blade side is without a guard, the blade at the base has blunted places for the thumb and forefinger on the blade and head side. Leather sheath, black, with embossed manufacturer's logo and inscription "Златоуст".

The Zlatoust company is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside Russia. It boasts several hundred years of tradition in the production of cold weapons. Gilding, in which the Uralic Zlatoust is the undisputed leader among Russian companies, looks exceptionally well on dark damascus blades.
