Sturm (walnut handle)

This new variant of the tactical knife features a full tang construction. The Sturm was developed at the request of German customers, hence the 119 mm blade length - Germany has restrictions on openly carrying knives with blades longer than 12 cm. Military personnel also expressed a need for a shorter tactical knife, as not everyone requires a blade as long as a Roman legionary's sword. The fact that the Sturm (the original name of this knife) is sensibly different from typical military knives makes it a very popular choice for anyone looking for a good field knife, and as a result, it is one of the most popular models in the Kizlyar Supreme lineup today. It seems the changes in this variant are aimed at making it more "civilian-friendly." While maintaining all essential characteristics (blade profile, grind, overall design), the plastic sheath with a Tek-Lok compatible mount has been replaced with a slip-in leather sheath, and the ABS handle scales have been swapped for wooden ones. The AUS-8 steel is hardened to 57-59 HRC. The knife features a full flat grind.
