Sturm green
Description
A full tang tactical knife with a Tactical Echelon handle. Created by order of clients from Germany, hence the 119 mm blade length - Germany has restrictions on carrying knives with blades longer than 12 cm. The demand for a shorter tactical knife was also voiced by the military; not everyone needs a blade like a Roman legionary's sword. The knife is made with a full tang design and a handle called Tactical Echelon, characteristic of the Kizlyar Supreme tactical knife line. These handles have a characteristic profile that provides a good grip both barehanded and with gloves. They are made from a combination of Kraton (a thermoplastic polymer rubber with high crack and abrasion resistance) and ABS (a hard, impact-resistant polymer) with a grainy texture.
AUS8 steel hardened to 57-59 HRC. Full flat grind.
Sheath made of strong polyamide with mounting allowing the knife to be carried in any position, including handle down.
The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers known widely beyond the borders of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the old traditions of Caucasian knife makers with the latest production technologies. Kizlyar Supreme products are the result of the work of artisans who have been making knives for generations, except that today they have the most modern programmable machining centers and hardening furnaces.
