Sturm black
Description
A tactical knife with a full tang design and a Tactical Echelon handle. Made to order for customers from Germany, hence the 119 mm blade length – Germany has restrictions on carrying knives with blades longer than 12 cm. Shorter tactical knives were also requested by military personnel; not everyone needs a blade like a Roman legionary's sword. The knife is made with a full tang design and a handle called Tactical Echelon, characteristic of the Kizlyar Supreme line of tactical knives. These handles have a characteristic profile that provides a good grip, both barehanded and with gloves. They are made of a combination of Kraton (a thermoplastic polymer rubber with high crack and abrasion resistance) and ABS (a hard, impact-resistant polymer) with a granular texture.
AUS8 steel hardened to 57-59 HRC. Full flat grind.
Sheath made of strong polyamide with a mounting system allowing the knife to be carried in any position, including handle down.
The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers known widely outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the old traditions of Caucasian knife makers with the latest production technologies. Kizlyar Supreme products are the result of the work of craftsmen who have been making knives for generations, but today they have access to the most modern programmable machining centers and hardening furnaces.
