Sturm PGK (green)

A full tang tactical knife from the Tactical Echelon model line. Created at the request of clients from Germany, hence the 119 mm blade length – Germany has restrictions on the free carrying of knives with blades longer than 12 cm. The demand for a shorter tactical knife was also reported by military personnel; not everyone needs a blade like that of a Roman legionary's sword. The knife is made in a full tang design with a handle called Tactical Echelon, characteristic of the Kizlyar Supreme tactical knife line. These handles have a characteristic profile providing a good grip both barehanded and with gloves. They are made from a combination of Kraton (a thermoplastic polymer rubber with high resistance to cracking and abrasion) and ABS (a hard, impact-resistant polymer) with a granular texture.

In this model, the blade is made of German PGK steel, distinguished by its durability, aggressive cutting, and excellent impact resistance at 62-63 HRC hardness. It requires a good whetstone – it cannot be sharpened on just any stone in the field. The TacWash blade finish prevents reflections. Full flat grind.

Sheath made of strong polyamide with a mounting allowing the knife to be carried in any position, including handle down.

The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the old traditions of Caucasian knife makers with the latest production technologies.
