Sturgeon
Description
A knife with a birch bark handle. Rings of bark are threaded onto the tang and compressed between two pieces of wood, in this case, dark wenge. This handle construction, very light and practical, is often found in Finnish knives. Such a knife, especially if not additionally weighted with a metal guard or metal pommel, is light and, with a good blade, can be operated effortlessly. "Sturgeon" is the only Damascus steel knife in our offer that features a 6 cm saw. Under the handle, on both sides of the blade, there are finger grooves. Leather sheath, slip-in, Finnish type.
