Description
A hunting knife manufactured by Zlatoust, made of forged damascus steel. Zlatoust damascus steel is distinguished by its high quality and exceptional aesthetics. A very lightweight handle (birch bark rings mounted on a metal shank) combined with a short blade makes the knife as light as a feather. At the end of the handle there is a hole allowing for the attachment of a lanyard or wrist loop. A small wooden bolster at the base of the blade. The blade, with a high concave grind, is decorated on one side with a gold-plated hunting motif using galvanic method. On the other side, under the handle, on the blade, there is a gold-plated inscription: "Росоружие Златоуст" and the manufacturer's logo.Leather sheath, black, with embossed manufacturer's logo and inscriptionZlatoust.
Zlatoust is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. It boasts a centuries-old tradition in the production of edged weapons. The gilding, in which Ural Zlatoust is the undisputed leader among Russian companies, looks exceptionally good on dark damascus blades.
