Spas-6 (leather handle, gilding, duralumin fittings)
Description
One of the lighter models in the Spas series. The first batch of Spas knives was produced for the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation (МЧС РФ). The model enjoyed such popularity that over time, other variants in different material versions appeared. The entire Spas model line consists of tactical knives with straight blades, a spine parallel to the cutting edge, and aggressive dagger-like points. In the Spas-6, the handles have double-sided crossguards and flared pommels. In this version, the blade, made of high-quality 95x18 stainless steel, is decorated on one side with an engraved and galvanically gold-plated ornament. On the other side of the blade, under the handle, is the inscription "Росоружие Златоуст", the manufacturer's logo, and the steel grade designation: 95x18. There is a 6-centimeter saw on the spine. The sheath is leather, black, military-style (with a frog), with the manufacturer's logo and the inscription Златоуст embossed on the belt loop. A knife that is perfect for a gift and could be described as very practical, if not for the fact that it is simply too beautiful to be used.
The Zlatoust company is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known beyond Russia's borders. It prides itself on a centuries-old tradition in the production of edged weapons.
