Skinner Elmax
Description
This knife is part of a new product line from the Siomina company: hunting knives made from Elmax powder steel, which offers exceptional resistance to both abrasion and corrosion—a rare combination. Elmax can be hardened up to 60-62 HRC, and Siomina's blades are heat-treated to a hardness of 58-61 HRC.
The skinner has a wide (40 mm) drop-point blade with a full hollow grind. The base of the blade is marked with the manufacturer's logo and the "ELMAX" inscription. The handle is made of black hornbeam wood and is finished on both ends with nickel silver (melchior) fittings. The knife comes with a brown, pouch-style leather sheath with decorative embossing.
