Sich (pattern welded damascus)
Description
A hunting knife from the Marushyny brothers, with a blade reminiscent of the legendary Russian military knife called "Karatiel". The trademark of this knife was a partially ground-down back forming a false edge and an aggressive stiletto point. In this version, the Sycz has a handle made of black hornbeam, but I also offer the Sycz with a rather expensive handle, which, although also wooden, is covered with checkering often found on the stocks of hunting firearms. In both versions, due to internal Russian regulations concerning the knife market, it was impossible to equip them with a proper guard or even a one-sided bolster. Instead, we only have handle extensions at the base of the blade, which hinders the slippage of fingers onto the blade, but does not prevent it 100 percent. Finnish-type smooth leather sheath.
