Sich (pattern welded damascus, "carbine" handle)
Description
A knife from the Marushyny brothers workshop, with a blade reminiscent of the legendary Russian military knife called "Karatiel". The trademark of this knife was a partially ground-down back, forming a false edge, and an aggressive stiletto-like point. The Sych's military roots are emphasized by the handle covered with knurling often found on the stocks of hunting firearms. The only thing missing for complete happiness is a proper guard or at least a distinct ricasso; instead, we only have handle extensions at the base of the blade, which hinders the slippage of fingers onto the blade, but does not prevent it 100%. The sheath is Finnish-type, smooth leather.
