Shaytan
Description
A big hunting knife from a series of historical replicas made of X12MF steel. Unlike the other two knives in this series ("NKVD Finka" and "Razvedchik"), the Shaitan (Russian: шайтан, meaning devil or an evil spirit from Muslim mythology) does not have a specific original model, so it is not a replica in the strict sense of the word. It is a heavy hunting knife with a heavy, polished blade, a clearly defined point, and a crossguard. At the base of the blade, below the handle, there is the manufacturer's monogram and the inscription: "сталь Х12МФ кованая" (forged X12MF steel). The handle is made of wenge wood. The leather sheath features decorative embossing.
