Description
A Damascus hunting knife with a drop point blade, the fuller running straight down the back from the blade's base. A recessed finger guard at the base of the blade. Partially hollow ground. The handle, finished with decorative fittings on both ends, is made from stabilized Karelian birch, one of the more expensive types of stabilized wood. These handles undergo processing; the exact process is a secret of each maker. As a result, they are given an unnatural color, emphasizing the unique grain pattern. In addition to aesthetic value, these handles have the advantage of being completely waterproof. A leather sheath, slip-in, Finnish type.
