Scythian (with forging marks)
Description
This hunting knife is made of high-quality stainless steel. The blade has a profile that the Siomina workshop calls Scythian (Russian: Скиф). It features a medium-sized drop-point blade with a wave-shaped cutting edge and a high hollow grind. The 4 mm thick spine is ground down at the tip into a false edge. The handle is made of wenge wood with a decorative nickel silver bolster. At the base of the blade, below the handle, is the manufacturer's logo and the inscription: "ручная работа сталь 95x18 кованая" (handmade, forged 95x18 steel). 95x18 is a harder type of stainless steel, and knives made from it are forged. In this model, the manufacturer has left the part of the blade above the grind line, up to the spine, unfinished, with visible forging marks. The item comes with a brown, leather sheath with an embossed design.
