Scorpio
Description
A heavy knife from Zlatoust in the Urals, referencing the legendary FSB Spetsnaz "Antiterror" knife. The blade, with its widened tip and distinctive grind, is a feature seen in many models from various manufacturers. In the Skorpion by AiR, the blade is exceptionally robust, matching the thickness of combat knives at 6 mm. As a result, the Skorpion is designed completely without a handguard; otherwise, under Russian law, it would be classified as a melee weapon. The blade is made from Russian 95x18 steel, a high-quality stainless steel. The renowned craftsmanship of the AiR company ensures that with these blade parameters, you get a highly durable knife of above-average quality. Like all AiR knives, the Skorpion is available with different handle options: a simple wooden handle, a more expensive and heavier leather handle with a duralumin bolster and pommel, and the most premium handles made from expensive wood species and stabilized wood. The knife comes with a black leather sheath featuring a silent snap closure and the option for vertical or horizontal carry.
AiR is one of the oldest companies specializing in knife production in Zlatoust, a city famous for its centuries-old blacksmithing tradition. All knives are sold with sheaths and are packaged in soft material cases.
