Scorpio (leather handle)
Description
A large knife inspired by the iconic contemporary Russian combat knife. This blade profile with characteristic sharpening shows up in many models from different manufacturers. In the Scorpio from AiR, the blade is very solid, it does not yield in terms of thickness (6 mm) to combat knives. As a result, the Scorpio is completely deprived of a guard, otherwise it would be classified as a cold weapon in accordance with Russian regulations. The material of the blade is Russian production 95x18 steel, i.e. high-grade corrosion-resistant steel. The quality of execution, which the AiR company is known for, means that with such blade parameters we get a very durable knife of high quality. Like all AiR knives, the Scorpio is released with different grips: a simple wooden handle, a more expensive and heavier leather handle with a bolster and a duraluminum head, or the most expensive grips made of expensive types of wood and stabilized wood. The leather sheath, black, with a quiet closure and the ability to carry in both an upright and horizontal position.
AiR is one of the oldest companies specializing in the production of knives in Zlatoust, known for a centuries-old tradition of blacksmithing. All knives are sold with sheaths and packed in soft-covered cases.
