Sapsan (black hornbeam handle)
Description
AiR company from Zlatoust in Ural region is one of the oldest manufacturers in this city, where Pavel Anosov experimented with bulat and damascus-type steels in the first half of XIX century. Sapsan is relatively long knife with full flat grind, similar to Czegłok, another popular model from AiR, with one difference – the tip is not elevated over the line of spine of the blade. Wooden handle with a lanyard hole, oiled but not stabilized in vacuum. Black leather sheath.
These knives are handmade pieces, sizes of the same profile blades may slightly differ.
