SV-3 (green micarta handle)
Description
A small but sturdy EDC folder in an inconspicuous kapron holster, you can carry it every day even in the city without attracting attention. Like all Cuchilleria Forester products, its second name is "Durable". A city knife could have 2-2.5 mm on the blade, but these people wouldn't be themselves if they didn't use the full 4 mm and with a partial hollow grind. So in terms of durability, it will meet any challenge. Stainless steel MV-58 with a hardness of 58 HRC. Liner lock, micarta handle covers. In fact, there might not be a lock because the SV-3, like many Forester folding knives, has the option of additional "stiffening": the protrusion at the end of the handle has a hole which, when unfolded, aligns with the hole at the base of the blade. You can insert a locking element in the form of a short cylinder into them (the largest pocket knives of this company, such as Tytan or Reaper, have such elements included, but in smaller ones you have to take care of them yourself). With the use of such an additional lock, the pocket knife practically becomes a knife with a fixed blade. The blade is engraved with the J&V Adventure Knives emblem (trade brand of the Cuchilleria Forester factory), the inscription "SV-3" and the steel marking. Kapron holster, closed with a fastener. It can be worn on a belt and is also compatible with the MOLLE attachment system. Forester is one of the few old Spanish manufacturers that resisted the pressure to move production to China. The knives are still not only designed but also manufactured in the Forester factory in Albacete, Spain.
