Russkiy (gilded pattern welded damascus, leather handle, duralumin castings)
Description
A large hunting knife manufactured by Zlatoust, made of forged damascus steel. Zlatoust damascus steel is distinguished by its high quality and exceptional aesthetics. The handle is made of leather rings strung on a metal shank, ending with a pommel on one side and a duralumin butt cap on the other. The butt cap has a hole for attaching a lanyard or wrist strap. The knife has a recurve blade, with a wavy cutting edge and a drop point profile. Noteworthy is the interesting grind – a low concave grind on the blade side and a ground ricasso. At the base, under the handle, on both sides of the blade, are blunted sections allowing the fingers to rest against the blade. One side is decorated with a gold-plated hunting motif. On the other side, under the handle, there is a gold-plated inscription: "Росоружие Златоуст" and the manufacturer's logo.Leather sheath, black, embossed with the manufacturer's logo and inscriptionЗлатоуст.

It boasts a several-hundred-year-old tradition in the production of edged weapons. The gold plating, in which Ural Zlatoust is the undisputed leader among Russian companies, looks exceptionally good on dark damascus blades.
