Description
A pocket knife made of Pakistani pattern-welded Damascus steel in a leather sheath with an attached sharpening rod. It features a spear point blade with a low hollow grind. The Damascus steel has no added chromium, making it non-stainless (susceptible to corrosion). Although the knife has a tab theoretically designed for one-handed opening (a flipper tab), just like with most Pakistani folding knives, the blade cannot be flipped open with a flick of the wrist (when I tried doing this in Lahore, the locals looked at me like I was an idiot). It must be opened using both hands. The decorative handle features a massive bolster and pommel, both also crafted from Damascus steel. The liners (inner frame) are made of brass. The metal spine of the handle is decorated with filework. The handle scales in the center are made of natural-colored camel bone. It utilizes a liner lock mechanism to prevent accidental closing. The knife is sold with a leather sheath featuring a flap closure with a snap button. Weight without the sheath is 234 g.
