Description
A hunting knife manufactured by Zlatoust, made of forged Damascus steel. Zlatoust damascus steel is distinguished by its high quality and exceptional aesthetics. The knife is very elegant and lightweight. The handle is made of stabilized Karelian birch – one of the more expensive types of stabilized wood. The pommel and bolster are made of textolite. The pommel has a hole for attaching a lanyard or wrist strap. The blade has a straight back with a very slight drop towards the point, decorated on one side with a gold-plated galvanic pattern. On the other side, under the handle, the blade features a gold-plated inscription: "Rosoruzhie Zlatoust" and the manufacturer's logo. The sheath is black leather, embossed with the manufacturer's logo and inscriptionZlatoust.
Zlatoust is one of several Russian knife manufacturers known far beyond the borders of Russia. It boasts a centuries-old tradition in the production of edged weapons. The gilding, in which Ural Zlatoust is the undisputed leader among Russian companies, looks exceptionally good on dark Damascus blades.
