Description

A hunting knife manufactured by Zlatoust, made of forged Damascus steel. Zlatoust Damascus steel is characterized by high quality and exceptional aesthetics. The handle is made of stabilized Karelian birch burl, finished on both sides with a bolster and a tektolite pommel. The pommel has a hole for attaching a lanyard or wrist strap. The blade has a partially concave grind and is decorated on one side with a gold-plated hunting motif using galvanic method. On the other side, under the handle, the blade features a gold-plated inscription: "Росоружие Златоуст" and the manufacturer's logo. The sheath is black, leather, slip-in, with the manufacturer's logo and inscription embossed on the back:Златоуст.

Zlatoust is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. It boasts a several-hundred-year-old tradition in the production of edged weapons. The gilding, in which the Ural Zlatoust is the undisputed leader among Russian companies, looks exceptionally well on dark Damascus blades.
