Rekin
Description
The Rekin (original name: Акула) is a product by the SARO company. Along with the Katran, Shtorm, and Plastun, it belongs to a line of combat knives with a common ancestry derived from the knives of the Russian Navy's combat diver units (боевые пловцы). All knives, except for the Plastun, feature rubber handles with a rectangular cross-section that allows for a secure grip even while wearing diver's gloves. The handle features an anchor at the base of the blade, which is the emblem of the naval units. All blades have serrations, lending them a rather aggressive appearance. These are not dedicated diving knives, although SARO occasionally releases limited-run variants with plastic sheaths. The models we offer come with Kapron sheaths.
