Reaper N690
Description
Reaper is a knife made of N690 steel, unusual for Kizlyar Supreme. Like Vran, another 2024 release, it is a knife that can be carried every day, even in the city and even concealed. Powder steel N690 from the Bohler group, has a hardness equivalent to D2 (60-61 HRC), but is even less susceptible to corrosion. The Kydex sheath has three holes on the edges that can be used to sew/lace the knife to your weight carrying system (you can also use the tek-lok mounting system). Additionally, the sheath is equipped with a clip for hanging on a belt or hooking to the edge of a pocket. There is the only kerambit in the Kizlyar Supreme offer, the designers of this company have never before expressed interest in this profile. However, this has a very simple explanation: Reaper was created in cooperation with the Italian company Hydra Armaments and their chief designer Alessandra De Santis, and this lady likes kerambits and has a lot of them, both with fixed blades and folding ones.
The Dagestan company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the old traditions of Caucasian knife manufacturers with the latest production technologies. Kizlyar Supreme products are the result of the work of craftsmen who have been making knives for generations, but today they have the most modern programmable machining centers and hardening furnaces.
