Plastun
Description
The Plastun (original name Пластун) is a product by the "SARO" company. Along with the Rekin, Shtorm, and Katran, it belongs to a line of combat knives with a shared heritage originating from the knives of the Russian Navy's combat diver (боевые пловцы) units. All blades feature serrations, which gives them a rather aggressive look. These are not diving knives, although "SARO" occasionally releases limited batches with plastic sheaths. The models we offer come with nylon sheaths. Among them, the Plastun is the only skeletonized knife, with a cord-wrapped handle, and is the only one made of 65G steel, which is also used for making leaf springs and coils. This steel is not corrosion-resistant.
