Pioneer
Description
Lightweight field knife with a full flat grind made of AUS8 steel. It is lightweight, yet features a 12 cm blade with a spine thickness of over 3 mm. The drop point profile has a straight, parallel edge and spine. Walnut tang scales are attached with two screws. The leather sheath is a slip-in, Finnish-style pouch with decorative embossing.
The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the ancient traditions of Caucasian knife makers with the latest production technologies.
