Picnic (gilded pattern welded damascus, stabilized wood handle blue)

A hunting knife manufactured by Zlatooust, made of pattern welded damascus steel. Zlatoust damascus steel is characterized by high quality and exceptional aesthetics. The knife is very elegant and lightweight. The handle is made of stabilized Karelian birch – one of the more expensive types of stabilized wood. The pommel and butt are made of textolite. There is a hole in the pommel allowing for a lanyard or wrist strap. The blade has a straight back with a very slight drop towards the point, the ricasso is partially ground down. The blade is decorated on one side with a gold-plated, galvanically applied design. On the other side, under the handle, there is a gold-plated inscription: "Rosoruzhie Zlatooust" and the manufacturer's logo. Leather sheath, black, with the manufacturer's logo and inscription embossedZlatooust.

Zlatooust is one of several Russian knife manufacturers well-known outside of Russia. It boasts a centuries-old tradition in the field of edged weapons production. The gold plating, in which Ural Zlatooust is the undisputed leader among Russian companies, looks exceptionally good on dark Damascus blades.
