Description
Pocket knife made of Pakistani pattern-welded Damascus steel in a leather pouch with an attached sharpening rod. Drop point blade with a partial hollow grind. Damascus steel without added chromium, therefore prone to corrosion. In this model, as with most Pakistani folding knives, the blade cannot be flipped open with a flick of the wrist (when I tried doing that in Lahore, the locals looked at me like I was an idiot). It should be opened using both hands. Decorative handle featuring a massive bolster and pommel also made of Damascus steel. The liners/internal frame are made of brass. The metal spine of the handle is decorated with a filed pattern. Wenge wood handle scales in the middle. Back lock mechanism to prevent accidental folding. The knife is sold with a leather pouch featuring a flap cover with a snap fastener closure. Weight without pouch: 188 g.
