Nikki AUS8 (walnut handle)
Description
This small full tang knife is made of AUS8 steel, hardened to 57-58 HRC. It is very similar to the Santi knife but differs in its blade profile. The Nikki has a straight spine, while the Santi features a small drop point. The blade has a full flat grind and a stonewash finish. It comes with an embossed black leather sheath. Essentially, this is a field knife, but it is small enough to be carried discreetly in the city without attracting attention.
The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of the few Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the old traditions of Caucasian knifemakers with the latest production technologies. Kizlyar Supreme products are the result of the work of craftsmen who have been making knives for generations, but who today use the most modern CNC machining centers and hardening furnaces.
