Needle

A small skeleton knife from the renowned Dagestani company Kizlyar, with a plastic sheath. Simple blade with a flat grind. The handle has a cutout in the middle, not visible in the picture due to the way the handle is wrapped with cord. At the base of the blade, on one side, the inscription"Игла"and the manufacturer's logo, on the other "Кизляр Сделано в России". The knife is sold with a light plastic sheath ending at the top on the inside with a clip. Theoretically, it can be worn on a belt, but it seems more sensible to sew the sheath (there are appropriate holes in it) to a carrying system, backpack or jacket lining. Inside, at the base of the blade, the knife has a protrusion entering from the inside into a special recess of the sheath; it can be carried with the handle down. Overall, it's a very successful knife, but it has one drawback: the sheath is plastic, without any liner, and the knife does not sit rigidly in it, but moves slightly, generating what scouts call "masking noise", or simply rattling. This can be eliminated by wrapping the part of the sheath adjacent to the handle with paracord.
