Neck K25 Kraken
Description
Small full-tang neck knife. Features a combo edge (a 19 mm serration near the handle) with a hollow grind. An uncommon blade profile: the spine rises upward before sloping down toward the tip, similar to a standard drop point. The entire blade is coated in a grayish protective titanium layer. G-10 handle scales. Kydex sheath with a neck chain included.
The K25 brand belongs to the Spanish company Martinez Albainox, once one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives, grouped into several registered model lines, but has moved almost all production to China. However, these remain branded products, meaning quality control is strictly maintained. In this setup, the manufacturing location stops being a disadvantage and becomes an asset, allowing for an excellent price-to-quality ratio. Albainox knives are mostly made of Chinese industrial steels. In this specific case, there is no steel grade marking on the blade other than "stainless steel".
